Tyrese Maxey led the 76ers with 27 points (10-for-17 FGs), four rebounds, seven assists, one steal and four 3-pointers in a 119-96 win over the Heat.
Maxey slid into a small starting lineup with Joel Embiid out and provided the offensive boost they needed.
Maxey’s move to the bench has been a better fit for the team, though he hasn’t added much aside from scoring consistently.
However, he provided a big line when his number was called in this game. Embiid should be back for their next game, which will send Maxey back to his role as their 6th man.
