LORENZEN FINALLY GETS WIN, BUT NO WAY PHILS CAN DEPEND ON HIM!

By Sally Fahey

Michael Lorenzen surrendered four runs across five innings in a win over the Braves.

Lorenzen was given the tough task of facing the red-hot Braves offense in the second game of a doubleheader.

He allowed a 386-foot three-run shot off Matt Olson’s bat in the top of the third inning. Olson would get to him again in the sixth inning, which ended his night.

After throwing two amazing starts following his trade to the Phillies in August, the 31-year-old has allowed three or more runs in each of his last five starts.
