LeBron James scored 32 points on 13-of-23 shooting (1-of-4 3-pointers) and added six rebounds, three assists, two steals, two blocks, and seven turnovers as the Lakers got blown out by the Pelicans last night 123-95.
The Lakers got embarrassed at home and by the end the fans were booing at the newly named crypto.com Arena.
For King James though, it was another night at the office, and Sunday was his 500th career 30-point game. This is the third-most in NBA history trailing just Wilt Chamberlain (515) and Michael Jordan (562). Russell Westbrook shot 5-of-15 from the floor (6-of-7 3-pointers) and added six rebounds, one assist, one steal, and seven turnovers in 28 minutes. Carmelo Anthony added 13 points on 4-of-9 shooting from the floor (1-of-5 3-pointers) with five rebounds, one assist, and one block in 30 minutes off the bench.
