The Phillies’ amazing habit of sweeping series continued Sunday with Aaron Nola winning his 6th game of the season 11-5 over Washington.

Like the rest of the National League, the Nationals just don’t have the firepower the Phillies are displaying with their MLB best 34-14 record.

Trea Turner goes down with a hamstring pull?

No problem for this Phillies squad.

They bring up Kody Clemens, who continues to rake the baseball as Turner did before he went down.

Clemens has played many spots on the infield but his bat has done the talking.

He doubled twice and knocked in two runs against the Nationals yesterday.

Clemens has nine hits in 11 appearances for the Phillies and seven have gone for extra bases, for an .821 slugging percentage.

He’s hitting .321 with 3 home runs and 10 RBI’s. He tied the game Saturday night with a centerfield shot that the Phils won in extra innings.

Third baseman Alex Bohm smashed his 5th HR and took over the NL lead in RBI’s, leading the hottest team in baseball 48 games into the season.
