Eagles coach Chip Kelly isn’t one to gloat, but as he said on 94WIP this morning:
“We enjoyed it. Let me tell you that.”
The 33-10 destruction of the Dallas Cowboys moved the Eagles to 9-3, only raising expectations for this team heading into the home stretch of the season.
The close race in the NFC seems to be bringing out the Seahawks’ best football just as they make their way to Philly for a 4:25 pm game next Sunday.
“I think it’s an especially good test playing this team right now because of how well they’re playing,” Kelly said of the 2014 Super Bowl champion Seahawks. “Their last two games specifically, they’ve been outstanding. They held their last two opponents have scored three points in back-to-back games. They’re playing really, really well right now, and that was against two quality opponents.
“They’re a really good football team,” Kelly said, “and it’s gonna be a big test for us this week.”
