Joel Embiid shot 13-of-21 from the field and 9-of-13 from the foul line in the Sixers 133-126 loss to the Mavericks, scoring 35 points with eight rebounds, one assist, and two steals in 36 minutes.
Embiid, who sat out Wednesday’s win over the Heat, played well offensively in his return to the lineup.
Embiid has been playing through the sore foot on most nights, but back-to-backs could be an issue in the short term.
The Sixers will begin next week with a Monday/Tuesday back-to-back after the 76ers visit the Bucks on Saturday.
