JOJO IS THE NBA MVP: A 42-BURGER — 19-19 FROM STRIPE!

By Sarah Paley

Joel Embiid torched the Pacers for 42 points (11-for-16 FGs, 19-for-19 FTs), five rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block and one 3-pointer in a 147-143 win.

Not only was Embiid efficient from the floor, but he set a new career-high for free throws made without a miss. He has hit at least 20 free throws three times in his career, including once earlier this season.

Still, he provided an excellent boost with his high percentage from both the floor and free throw line while also posting numbers across the board.

Embiid has been dominant all season and will be in the MVP conversation at the end of the season, especially if the 76ers keep winning.
