The Sixers Joel Embiid, a two-time NBA scoring champion, has been hit by injuries in the playoffs most of his career.
He suffered a torn ligament in his right thumb and an orbital fracture last year in the playoffs.
He’s missed other postseason games with knee injuries and illness.
Don’t be surprised if he play through the pain of his LCL against the Celtics, with the series starting Monday night.
As Embiid’s history of playing through injuries and pain shows, it can be fluid depending on his progress. He has been able to do some individual spot-up shooting the past several days and will be evaluated daily. https://t.co/dPwOzhKYDc
