EAGLES JOHNSON, DICKERSON, MADDOX GOOD TO GO FOR SUPER BOWL!

By Max Harper

As expected, the Eagles removed RT Lane Johnson, LG Landon Dickerson and cornerback Avonte Maddox from the injury report, and all three will play in Sunday night’s Super Bowl against the Chiefs.

Johnson suffered a torn adductor late in the regular season and missed the Eagles’ final two games before returning in the playoffs. The issue will eventually require surgery.

Johnson hasn’t appeared bothered by the injury in his two postseason appearances and will play through it one last time in the Super Bowl.

Dickerson injured his right elbow in the NFC Championship game. He was forced to leave in the fourth quarter and did not return, though the game was already decided by that point.

He got in a pair of full practices in the Eagles’ final week of Super Bowl prep and is ready to go.

Maddox missed a handful of games late in the season with the toe issue but was cleared to play in the NFC Championship. He was spotted in a walking boot the following week but all reports indicated that was nothing more than a precautionary measure.

He closed the final day of Super Bowl prep with a full practice and is good to go.

Britain Covey is the only player with an injury designation for either team.
