So, how will the Eagles’ addition of running back Jay Ajayi affect the Birds’ fantasy prospects this Sunday against the Broncos?
The Eagles have been utilizing LeGarrette Blount,Wendell Smallwood, Corey Clement and now-injured Darren Sproles since the outset of the season.
What does this mean in fantasy?
While everyone assumes that Blount would continue to start, it’s hard to imagine the team will not begin working Ajayi into the lineup and get him acclimated.
Ajayi will have some appeal as time goes on.
For Week 9, expectations should be tempered for both Blount and Ajayi as the Eagles host the Broncos. Denver may not be as stingy on defense, but still represents a tough matchup.
