IS HOWIE’S NEXT BOLD EAGLES ADDITION CB JUSTIN SIMMONS? WATCH!

By Art Beitchman

With the sudden trade last week of edge rusher Haason Reddick, the Eagles trimmed $25 million off their payroll.

New defensive coordinator Vic Fangio is instituting the 3-4 defense, and the Birds are making lots of personnel moves.

Reddick got moved for a conditional 2026 draft pick.

The name that keeps getting linked to the Eagles, according to Pro Football Focus, is safety Justin Simmons, formerly of the Denver Broncos. Fangio also coached Simmons in Denver.

GM Howie Roseman has been bold this offseason, and now with more money to spend it might be the perfect time to land a top tier defender in the secondary the Birds have been looking for.

We’ll see.
