Francisco Lindor let out a series of shouts.
As he rounded third base, Lindor (above) looked to his teammates and saluted hard in the direction of Cleveland’s dugout as Lindor raced around the basepaths, celebrating a two-run home run that felt like more than enough for Cleveland’s stout pitching staff.
The Tribe’s October formula — solid starting pitching and shutdown relief — worked again in last night’s 2-0 victory over the Blue Jays in Game 1 of the American League Championship Series.
