I’M FINE, READY TO GO SUNDAY, EAGLES HURTS SAYS ABOUT ANKLE!

By Max Harper

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts dinged his ankle against the Giants last Sunday, but head coach Nick Sirianni sounded optimistic today about his outlook for this Sunday’s game against the Jets.

Hurts said his injured ankle is “fine” and that “I’ll be ready to go” in Week 13.

“We’re hopeful. We’re feeling good,” Sirianni told reporters. “He’s feeling better every day. We’re excited that we’re going to have him out there at walkthrough today. So, really hopeful for him. … He’ll be taking reps at walkthrough.”

Sirianni said that Hurts is doing better than he was when he reported soreness early this week and that he is expected to take part in Wednesday’s walkthrough practice. Sirianni added that the team is proceeding with preparations as if Hurts is going to be in the lineup.
