Here’s an intriguing issue raised in the Washington Post:
Will the Redskins bring back DeSean Jackson after this season?
Nope!
He makes too much money — $9.25 million next season and he’s not reliable enough. Explosive, yes. But he’s not very versatile or dependable.
Cutting him would save $8 million against the cap. Pierre Garcon has a cap number of $10.2 million next season, but the team could cut him and save another $8 million.
Is it too much to ask that the Eagles, who cut the famously talented D-Jax in March 2014, might want to re-sign him for 2016?
