The NBA playoffs first round opens up Saturday at 6pm as the 76ers take on the New York Knicks at MSG.

Sixers and Knicks fans have been anticipating this match-up all season.

The Sixers come off the thrilling 1-point win over the Heat Wednesday night to qualify for the 7th seed.

The Knicks are favored in game 1 on their home court at -2.5.

However the Sixers are favored to win the best-of 7-series at -125.

The Sixers are without De’Anthony Melton and Robert Covington.

The Knick are without forward Julius Randle who separated his shoulder in the regular season. His 24 points per game will be missed way more than the Sixers injured players.

It should be a very entertaining series between division rivals who’ve been battling for decades.

This will be their first meeting in playoff competition in 35 years.
