HURTS IS FAVE TO BE EAGLES 2022 QB, WILSON, RODGERS IN THE MIX!

By Skip Charles in Vegas

So, Eagles coach Nick Sirianni says Jalen Hurts is the quarterback going into the 2022 season.

While Hurts’ injury could be a reason for his poor play last Sunday, will the Eagles be content with running it back with him at quarterback next season?

Here are our projected odds for who will really be:

Jalen Hurts: -175

Gardner Minshew: +200

Kenny Pickett: +350

Matt Corral: +350

Deshaun Watson: +575

Russell Wilson: +1000

Aaron Rodgers: +2000

Maybe Howie Roseman decides to move on from Hurts with one of his three first-round picks, but it’s hard to justify benching or trading a quarterback that took a team that was supposed to have a top five pick to the playoffs in his first full season.

Wilson’s future in Seattle is in question, and the Eagles may be able to offer the best trade (three first-rounders this season) to bring Wilson to a new team.

However, if the star quarterback doesn’t want to go to Philly, it’s hard to see him forcing his way out unless he will be dealt to a team he wants to play for. Maybe the Seahawks try to rebuild and move on from Russ, but the money will also be tough for the Eagles to make it work.
