The Eagles 29-17 win over the Texans last week was great after a short week plus traveling to Houston.
But it also clearly showed how they missed massive defensive tackle Jordan Davis.
The Texans ran for big yards in the first half, — RB Dameon Pierce gashed them for 139 yards before the Birds adjusted in the second half to secure the win.
Jordan sustained a high ankle sprain in the win over Pittsburgh, and he was put on the 4 week IL. The Birds expect him to come back after that layoff and help clog up the middle of the run defense again.
The high draft pick from Georgia has been very effective against the run since game 1, and the Birds hope to have Jordan back for the Packers or Titans game about the end of November to help keep this historic season going as the only undefeated team in the NFL.
