HOFFMAN SAVED THE PHILS AFTER A STUNNING COMEBACK!

By Sally Fahey

Jeff Hoffman struck out one in a scoreless ninth inning against the Marlins.

Hoffman worked around a throwing error from Trea Turner to secure this save.

While possibly the best Phillie reliever, José Alvarado has grabbed most of the saves.

He pitched on Saturday opening the door for Hoffman.

He and the rest of the bullpen were instrumental in the team’s huge comeback victory.
