Temple got screwed out of a spot in the 68-team field for the NCAA tournament, and the 23-win Owls have to settle for the NIT, hosting Bucknell tomorrow night at the Liacouris Center.
Lots of people have complaints, but no one has come up with a solution to the situation that allows underachievers from power conferences like UCLA to make the field and worthy 23-win teams from mid-major conferences like Temple to be shut out.
