It is not surprising that 4-2 Penn State is a 14-point underdog to 5-1 Ohio State this Saturday night, even though the game will be played in Beaver Stadium:
1: Punts by Ohio State during its 56-17 stomping of Rutgers last Saturday in Columbus. The Buckeyes rang up 585 total yards and 31 first downs. Penn State, by the way, punted eight times in its 13-10 win over Rutgers in Piscataway earlier this season.
60: Total yards produced by the Penn State offense during the second half of its 18-13 loss at Michigan. Sixty yards on 35 plays.
1,063: Total yards allowed by Penn State’s defense in its first two meetings with an Urban Meyer-coached Ohio State team. The Buckeyes have outscored PSU 98-37 in those contests and the Lions have allowed 642 rushing yards.
