Bryce Harper went 2-for-3 with two RBIs, one walk and one run scored.
He walked in the first inning and hit a Little League home run in the third inning to help the Phillies to a 3-1 lead.
Harper ripped the ball down the right-field line with two outs to score Alec Bohm from first base. It probably should have been a double, but Rays right fielder Brett Phillips had trouble picking up the ball, which allowed Harper to try for third. Harper slid headfirst into third as the throw from Rays shortstop Willy Adames got past third baseman Mike Brosseau.
Harper got up and scored.
Then, in the fifth, Harper hit a two-out single to right-center field to score Scott Kingery and make it 4-1.
A little league homer and the lead! We'll take it. pic.twitter.com/65nbr6HbC4
