With the Phillies set to open the regular season today at 3:15 pm against the Boston Red Sox at Citizens bank Park, the team set its 40-man roster for the 2015 regular season.
The club selected the contracts of outfielder Jeff Francoeur and infielder Andres Blanco, while outfielder Jordan Danks was optioned to Lehigh Valley (AAA). Additionally, the Phillies placed right-handers Chad Billingsley and Jonathan Pettibone on the 15-day disabled list and placed left-hander Mario Hollands on the 60-day DL.
