Let’s take our hats off to T. J. McConnell.
The Sixers’ McConnell, an undrafted point guard from Arizona, is averaging 6.1 points and 4.7 assists per game.
McConnell was able to find a roster spot with the 76ers after injuries to Tony Wroten and Kendall Marshall opened up a spot. He made an NBA roster while the Thunder’s original first-round pick Cameron Payne can’t find a spot in the Oklahoma City rotation.
