‘HARP IS DOING OK,’ AND PHILS STAR IS DAY-TO-DAY!

By Sam Bush

Bryce Harper’s sore left wrist kept him out of the lineup last night.

He injured it last Wednesday when he was hit in the face and the ball caromed off his wrist, but he returned to the lineup Sunday night against the Mets and aggravated the wrist after landing on it when he tried to hold up while rounding third base in the sixth inning.

“Harp is doing OK,” Phillies manager Joe Girardi said after the game. “We’ll continue to treat [him]. He’s day to day, but it’s probably a day or two at least.”

The Phillies started Odúbel Herrera in right field last night, and he was 1-for-3 with a run scored.
