The James Harden rumors continue to percolate.
Former NBA player Kendrick Perkins added more fuel to the fire on the All The Smoke podcast:
“I’m gonna just give you hints and you can figure it out.
“James Harden didn’t sign his contract extension. Alright? He didn’t sign it. He was supposed to sign. It was supposed to go KD [Kevin Durant], Kyrie [Irving], James Harden. Didn’t happen, alright, so he didn’t sign it.
“Now, James Harden’s camp is telling people in Philly, I wanna come play with [Joel] Embiid next year. This ain’t no lie, this facts. But he’s telling the Brooklyn Nets ownership group different.
“This is real life, this is not rumors. No matter how much he may try to deny it. I think Philly wants to win, I know they not gonna win a championship unless they make a big move, but I think they’re thinking more so about next season.”
