James Harden told the Inky, “I’m here now,” just before Sunday’s Sixers-Knicks game at MSG.
In other words, he didn’t deny Woj’s ESPN report that he is contemplating heading back to Houston to play for the Rockets after this season in Philly.
Harden is a free agent after this season.
But then he went out and got 29 points (7-of-16 FGs, 10-of-11 FTs), four rebounds, 13 assists, four steals, one block, and five 3-pointers in 43 minutes.
Like teammate Joel Embiid, the third quarter was Harden’s best, as he shot 3-of-6 from the field.
