Ex-Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin got relatively good news today.
Maclin did not suffer a torn ACL in Saturday’s Kansas City Chiefs’ playoff win over Houston, in a report first tweeted by ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
The Chiefs later confirmed the report, saying Maclin has an ankle sprain and his availability is day-to-day.
At his news conference earlier in the day Sunday, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said Maclin was preparing for his MRI but said Maclin indicated that his ankle was sore.
The Chiefs will travel to New England to take on the Patriots on Saturday afternoon. The winner of that match-up will advance to the AFC Championship game.
