April 1 is, among other things, the end of Anthony Gargano’s non-compete with WIP, which last fall offered him a one-year extension, which the Cuz turned down.
So, now WIP has the unctuous Josh Innes and Tony Bruno competing with 97.5 the Fanatic’s Mike Missanelli in the afternoon.
It is no contest.
Missanelli kills these clowns every day with smart talk and humor, as opposed to Innes’ phony outrage and self-importance.
Well, who should appear with Mikey Miss today?
None other than Gargano, which undoubtedly is the first step in Gargano’s hiring in the morning.
Which will pit him against Angelo Cataldi and his fading numbers.
Which will spell the beginning of the end of WIP as the leader in the clubhouse in Philly talk radio.
