FORMER PHILLIES GOOFBALL SCHILLING IS A TWIT ON TWITTER!

So reports the New York Post:

Curt Schilling is no longer active in MLB, but his fingers still get a workout on Twitter.

The former Red Sox and Phillies star and current Breitbart voice fired back at a Twitter instigator Sunday night, after user @youngersheldon mocked Schilling for flying first-class on their shared flight.

“Lol [Schilling] is flying first class on my flight home, guess he must’ve paid Rhode Island all that money back,” the user said.

The fan was referring to Schilling’s failed video game venture, 38 Studios, which received $75 million in loans from the state before filing for bankruptcy in 2012. Schilling, who said he was “tapped out,” paid back just $2.5 million to Rhode Island after the company folded.

Schilling took offense to the man’s comments and challenged him to repeat the remarks to his face.

“Funny your gutless ass didn’t mention this when you passed by,” the 51-year-old Schilling tweeted. “Feel free to do so when we deplane sweetie.”
