With the delay of MLB spring training just past this week — pitchers and catchers were due to report Tuesday — baseball fans are wondering when this inane battle the billionaire owners are waging against the millionaire players will finally end and get back on the field.
I sense when big money starts to get lost they will come to their senses.
In the meantime, Phillies prospect SS Bryson Stott can work out at the Clearwater Fla. facility.
He claims he can battle and win the job when the lockout ends and workouts are on for the veteran players.
So far all fans can see is the future Phils SS spraying the ball around on a nice Florida day:
