Gustafsson spent most of the 2019-20 regular season in Chicago before being dealt to Calgary for a third round pick.
His most productive season with the Hawks came in 2018-19, when he scored 60 points 79 games including 17 goals which placed him tied for third among NHL defensemen that season.
