Joel Farabee, who had a hat trick against the Islanders, finished off a two-on-one with Scott Laughton, increasing the lead to 3-1.
Farabee is now tied with Kevin Hayes for the team lead with six goals.
“We’d like to close out that victory, but it’s part of the game and we just got to adjust,” Farabee said after the 4-3 OT loss. “We play these guys again [in] two days, so we’ve just got to get ready for that.”
