The Wells Fargo Center will host 3,100 fans for Flyers and Sixers games.

Next Sunday night’s game against the Washington Capitals will be the first Flyers game with fans and the Sixers will do so on March 14 after the All Star Game.

Chris Heck, president of 76ers, said in a statement that the team was “thrilled” to welcome back fans.

The City Philadelphia on Monday began to allow venues to have indoor events at 500 attendees and outdoor events at 2,500 attendees if those venues had a capacity of more than 10,000 people. With the previous guidance, sports venues would have been unable to host fans.
