FIRST EXO SEP. 28, AND FLYERS MAY BE WITHOUT MORIN AND ALLISON

By Jenny Masters

The Flyers first exo is in a week, and already they are behind the 8-ball with injuries to Sam Morin and Wade Allison.

Morin is expected to miss the start of training camp because of injury reportedly dealing with a knee issue. He posted one goal, 37 penalty minutes, 13 blocks and 38 hits in 20 games with Philadelphia last season.

Late in the second period of Sunday night’s Flyers-Rangers rookie game Allison was sent crashing into the boards after a collision with New York’s Braden Schneider and couldn’t get up without assistance.

The Flyers did not issue a statement on Allison’s condition but from the way he had to be helped off the ice after the 3-2 loss to the Rangers, it didn’t look good.
