Nearly a week after more than 250 NFL players knelt during the national anthem, President Trump re-emphasized his ongoing stance that players need to stand to honor the country in a tweet last night ahead of today’s NFL action — when the spotlight before the games will surely take precedence.
Trump tweeted: “Very important that NFL players STAND tomorrow, and always, for the playing of our National Anthem. Respect our Flag and our Country!”
