EX-EAGLE MCNABB IN HALL OF FAME? 75% IN POLL SAYS NO WAY!

By Harry Allison

Ex-Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb has created a media buzz by claiming he belongs in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and Pro Football Talk put it to the fans in a Twitter poll:

With nearly 40,000 votes cast, 75 percent of those responding disagreed with McNabb.

It remains difficult to see McNabb ever getting enough votes to get in, especially compared to his peers like Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Philip Rivers, Ben Roethlisberger and Tom Brady.

Other quarterbacks may suffer the same fate in a numbers game featuring a collection of quarterbacks with stellar numbers. Tony Romo and Eli Manning also may have a very hard time getting in.

Romo, like McNabb, has no championships to show for his career. Eli his late-career struggles could actually undermine his shot.
