Former Eagles defensive end Cedric Thornton is headed to Dallas.

The 6-6, 300 pound former undrafted free agent signed a four-year contract with the Dallas Cowboys yesterday which, according to Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports, is worth $18 million.

An undrafted free agent out of Southern Arkansas, Thornton spent the first five seasons of his NFL career with the Eagles and has 119 tackles and four sacks.

Thornton, 27, finished last season with 33 tackles and one sack.

According to CBS Dallas Fort-Worth, Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett and defensive line coach Leon Lett hosted Thornton for dinner Wednesday to help seal the deal in recruiting him.
