This is Redskins week, with the Eagles traveling to Washington for their first NFC East game this Sunday.
And normally that would mean a lot of trash-talking by former Eagle wide receiver DeSean Jackson.
But Jackson seems to have become the Redskins’ invisible man.
The Redskins have got to find more ways to get him involved, and not just screens. He’s not great on those.
After the Ravens game, coach Jay Gruden was asked why they didn’t use Jackson more there or at least have the threat of having to account for, and he said, “I don’t know. Maybe he was tired. You’ll have to ask him.”
Jackson looked frustrated on the sideline, and he had left the locker room early. But there’s a disconnect somewhere that must get fixed.
