EX-BEAR ALSHON JEFFERY CAN’T WAIT FOR AN EAGLES WIN SUNDAY!

By Peter Gleason

Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery was a standout with the Chicago Bears before he became a Bird in 2017.

And while he’s not normally a quote machine, here’s what he thinks about Philly and Chi Town:

“I love the city of Philadelphia. Chicago was just when I was there for work.”

And:

“No disrespect to our home crowd in Philly, but I love away games. I love hearing the other team at the beginning of the game, but they’re quiet at the end.”

How about Soldier Field:

“The field is terrible. I definitely remember that. But at the same time, it’s football, man … when I was there we always used to tell the equipment manager that you gotta change the field, get the field better. I’m not disrespecting them. I’m just saying: It’s terrible.”

Jeffery is downplaying the angle of his first game back in Chicago since signing with Philly:

“Just keep counting us out. That’s all I’ve got to say.”
