NFL scouts and execs have been lukewarm about this year’s crop of inside linebackers, but UCLA’s Eric Kendricks turned heads Sunday.
The 232-pound Butkus Award winner ran well (4.61 in the 40) and looked smooth in drills. He carries some questions about his durability after some injuries, including ankle surgery following the 2013 season, but is considered among the top players at his position group along with Miami’s Denzel Perryman and Mississippi State’s Benardrick McKinney. Perryman ran 4.78 in the 40, and McKinney had a 4.66 showing.
Are the Eagles impressed enough to draft Bird Mychal Kendricks’ bro?
We’ll see on April 30.
