The mystery surrounding Joel Embiid’s recovery is growing, and he will be in Los Angeles today for a checkup with the doctor who performed surgery on his foot last June. at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute.
Embiid, who has not played in a game this season or even practiced 5-on-5 with the team, threw down a ferocious between-the-legs dunk (photo above) prior to the Sixers’ game against the Jazz last Friday night. The dunk was captured on video by the team and shared across social media platforms.
