Sixers star Joel Embiid underwent surgery yesterday to repair his right thumb injury, the team announced today.
He also had a procedure done to repair an injury to his left index finger.
Embiid is expected to be ready for training camp.
Embiid injured his thumb injury midway through Game 3 of the first-round playoff series against the Toronto Raptors and played through the injury against the Raps and the Heat in the second round.
