The ideal quarterback for Chip Kelly’s system would be able to run the ball better than Sam Bradford, but don’t forget that Kelly’s 2011 Oregon Ducks team racked up 7,319 yards of offense despite having only 81 rushing attempts by its quarterbacks. Kelly will adapt his approach to the player skills made available to him, and given the talents Bradford brings to the table, the Eagles’ offense should be improved if he ends up starting this season.
