For some Eagles fans, the jury’s still out on quarterback Carson Wentz.
But the Athletic.com has come up with a stat that will make you appreciate him even more than you already do:
Carson Wentz is avoiding negative plays (defined here as sacks, fumbles and interceptions) better than ever before. He’s produced a negative play on just 5.63% of his pass plays, the second-lowest mark of any starting QB behind only Patrick Mahomes.
