Carson Wentz and his receivers spent some quality time in Fargo, South Dakota, last week, working on routes, bonding and everything else a kid does at overnight camp.

“Coming out here and getting on the field reps helps tremendously,” Wentz told WIP via phone. “Building the comraderie and chemistry helps understand each other better. You understand how they think and how they learn. That helps make it easier to explain things to each other.”

“Building trust is a huge part. It breaks down any walls so to speak,” Wentz said. “We got a lot of really good work in here in the morning. We got a chance to have a lot of fun in the afternoon and evening. It’s valuable to get time with the new rookies and free agents.”

“I can’t wait to get to camp. We have high expectations,” Wentz said. “We hope and expect to play into January and see what happens. Our goal is to win the NFC East, and we have the guys to do it.”
