EAGLES TRADE UP TO DRAFT LSU’S JUSTIN JEFFERSON IN LAST MOCK!

Says The Athletic:

18. *TRADE* EAGLES (via Miami Dolphins): Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU

The Eagles trade No. 21 and two fourth-round picks (Nos. 127 and 146 to Cleveland) for No. 18.

The Eagles have boxed themselves into a position in which they need to exit the draft with at least one receiver in the first two rounds. With Ruggs off the board, the decision to give up two day-three picks to secure Jefferson is an easy one — they’ll look to trade down on day two to recoup some draft volume. Jefferson is not the easiest fit in Philadelphia, where Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert already control the middle of the field, but he checks all the boxes: young, productive and fast. He produced on the outside as a sophomore for LSU in 2018 and the Eagles think he’s the safest bet remaining. If they sit at 21 and all four top receivers are off the board, look for them to parachute down. — Bo Wulf

The Eagles are looking for a playmaking receiver and Jefferson is high on their list. They traded up a few spots to get the left tackle in last year’s first round and it wouldn’t be surprising if they did it this year when the run on receivers starts.
