Eagles Supreme Leader Chip Kelly is continuing his purge of remnants of the Howie Boy Roseman era.
According to Les Bowen of the Daily News, the Eagles have fired director of college scouting Anthony Patch, director of pro personnel Rick Mueller and Southwest area scout Brad Obee.
The team has not yet announced the firings.
The decision by the Eagles, and Kelly and his top personnel man Ed Marynowitz (photo above), shouldn’t come as a big surprise.
When Marynowitz took over the personnel department in January, the team was pretty deep into their preparation for the draft. Letting scouts go at the time didn’t make sense.
