EAGLES START JORDAN MAILATA AT LT: THE JOKE PICK COMES DUE!

Eagles big boss Howie Roseman has been a miserable drafter.

And his incompetence will be on display tonight.

The laughable pick of a rugby player who had never played football in his native Australia comes due against the Niners.

Jordan Mailata was chosen in the 7th round pick, and the 6-8, 346-pounder will start at left tackle.

After Jason Peters went on Injured Reserve yesterday, and Mailata will make his first NFL start in front of a national audience.

Mailata, 23, instantly became a fan favorite when the Eagles drafted him. The former rugby player from the South Sydney Rabbitohs had incredible athleticism, especially for someone his size, and he’s a likable guy. He was honest about how much he needed to improve and was willing to put the work in.
