If you’re a true NFL junkie and you want to know instantaneously how the playoffs race is unfolding this Sunday, the last day of the regular season:
You better have three televisions.
Or DirecTV’s Sunday Ticket.
Because the Eagles’ regular-season finale at Washington was moved to a 4:25 PM kickoff.
Philly must win to have a chance at earning a Wild Card spot; then Minnesota has to lose at home against Chicago. Minnesota’s game is also in the 4:25 PM time slot, so Eagles fans will be doing a lot of scoreboard watching.
And the other relevant game — the L. A. Rams hosting the S. F. 49ers — is also at 4:25, and even if the Vikes beat the Bears to eliminate the Eagles they need the Rams to lose.
The Eagles beat Washington 28-13 on December 3, a Monday night affair. Washington has since been eliminated from playoff contention.
