EAGLES SIGN TE JASON CROOM, BROOM WOEFUL JAMON BROWN!

By Jerry Wein

The Eagles released guard Jamon Brown and signed tight end Jason Croom off the practice squad.

Brown started in Sunday’s loss to the Baltimore Ravens, and coach Doug Pederson did not say what the plan is along the offensive line for tonight’s game against the Giants.

With Brown out of the picture, the Eagles will start their sixth different offensive line combination in seven games this year.

Matt Pryor is still on the Reserve/COVID-19 list and Isaac Seumalo is on Injured Reserve. Nate Herbig has started every game this season at one of the two guard spots. Sua Opeta is the primary backup at both guard positions. Rookie free agent Luke Juriga is the backup at center. Rookie tackle Prince Tega Wanogho could be called up from the practice squad for the game.

The Eagles have until today at 4 PM to make that decision.
